vestalife_ladybug

We have seen quite a few types of speakers recently. Here’s another look at a really cute iPod/iPhone speaker set from Vestalife. Meet the Ladybug speaker. The speaker charges the iPod and can run on AC or on battery. It also has a USB port that has been integrated to sync with your iPod. Priced at around $100-$110, Ladybug is available from Amazon.com, Target, Costco and many other retail stores.
The “Wings” of the Ladybug opens up as shown above, to allow you to dock your iPod. Overall a very neatly designed speaker, especially for the ladies.

Lifebook An All-In-One Concept Laptop

Have you remembered that impressive concept laptop named Bent Book? Now we have found another similar and smart design concept. Want to know what gadgets have been embedded into concept laptop? Let’s go on checking.

Lifebook An All-In-One Concept Laptop

Lifebook An All-In-One Concept Laptop

Lifebook is an eye-catching design concept designed by Prashant Chandra, an industrial designer from India. As we can see from the images, the concept laptop features multiple integrated gadgets, including a digital compact camera, a smartphone and a tablet. All the three parts can be assembled onto the main laptop, and the tablet is also the keyboard of the concept laptop. Of course, same as Bento Book, Lifebook is also a design concept, but we believe this kind oflaptop will become reality in near future such as ASUS’s Padfone.

PSP Bugatti Veyron Edition Appeals to Gamers and Luxury Connoisseurs Alike

psp bugatti veyron edition PSP Bugatti Veyron Edition Appeals to Gamers and Luxury Connoisseurs Alike
Usually, luxury has very little to do with video games, and the only thing that could make the luxury product connoisseur to take a look at video game products is their almost repulsive mass appeal. Nevertheless, when you take a look at Won Chan Lee’s 2D rendition of the PSP Bugatti Veyron Edition, you might think twice before concluding that chic and luxury oriented people are not interested in “geekhood”.
It was created as a part of the product design course in Seoul National University of Technology. Using Photoshop, Illustrator, and some real kick-ass designing skills, the guy has created this awesome looking PSP. The device is expected to come with DHC memory card, Bluetooth for multiplayer games and 16:9 aspect ratio screen.
If only Sony takes notice of such budding talent, you could be sure that you would get to play on a cool gadget like this. Nevertheless, it is not clear how much the device might cost to be manufactured, and if they are going to be limited edition pieces, if they really are going to be manufactured.

Platinum MacBook Air

The MacBook Air is known for being skinny, light, and, well, airy. Now Stuart Hughes, the British design house that has brought you the diamond and gold iPhones, has come out with a version of the Air in platinum. For just $480,000, you can pick up (with muscles!) the limited-edition Air that weighs more than 15 pounds. Lugging it around might be a hassle, but look at the bright side: if you need a heavy object with which to bludgeon someone, this might be just the thing! As per usual with Stuart Hughes,a limited number are available.

Munitio Earphones

For just $159, Munitio will give your ears the shot they’ve been waiting for – in these bullet earphones . Bullets are the best way to get a song out of your head, right? Perhaps, but when you stick 18-carat gold into your ears, you might get more than just good sound. Here’s a quick question: they look pretty neat, but aren’t you going to hide all that golden bling inside your ear-holes instead of showing it off? In any case, the golden theme rocks on in these bullets.

Stylish Samsung Proxima LED wristwatch

When you look at Proxima for the first time, you might think that this is another LED wristwatch concept with futuristic design. But this stylish concept is more than that.
When you look at Proxima for the first time, you might think that this is another LED wristwatch conceptwith futuristic design. But this stylish concept is more than that. In fact is a 2-in-1 product because it’s a LED wristwatch and phone at the same time. The project was developed by Johan Loekito in collaboration with Samsung Design America in fall 2009. Starting from the idea that “you’ll never loose your phone again”, Proxima features a proximity sensor which detects the presence of the detachable unit. It reminds you through a warning vibration or sound to not forget your phone when you’ve moved away from detached unit. Detachable unit have a color e-paper display and a dual LED display. To set on calling mode, you simply detach the screen and open it if you want to send messages. Keeping  the screen in the compact mode means that it is closed.

Ulysse Nardin Android phone

In case you’d rather drop $50k on a phone instead of a year of college, the $50,000 Android by Ulysse Nardin serves up some amazing technology and a ton of bragging rights. The phone, running the Android operating system (not Froyo, but perhaps that will be upgraded once the phone’s out of beta), powered by kinetic energy from a revolving rotor on the back, with a box that appears to double as a charging station, complete with a USB port and speakers. The 32GB phone also has a 2.8-inch multitouch screen, 8-megapixel camera, biometric fingerprint unlocking, WiFi and an email browser.

"With a price tag of $2,000, the exclusive Porsche Design P'9981 Smartphone from BlackBerry is a Bold 9900 in an expensive new skin. It is not a better BlackBerry than the 9900, but if you have the cash and want to stand out, it is definitely the BlackBerry for you."
